Camel STEAM Founded by young entrepreneurs passionate about educational innovation, we combine cutting-edge technology with innovative teaching methods to provide comprehensive, engaging STEAM education for Hong Kong primary and secondary students.
Our mission is to develop students' creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, helping them thrive in a fast-changing digital age. Through hands-on practice and project-based learning, we encourage exploration, experimentation and innovation.
Our team of experienced educators, engineers and designers brings deep expertise and passion for passing knowledge to the next generation.
Our courses span different age groups from Kindergarten through primary to secondary. Camel STEAM's professional instructor team adjusts teaching methods and content depth to each student's age and ability, ensuring a suitable learning experience for everyone. Generally, our screen-free coding and large-block creative courses suit Kindergarten and above; introductory programming suits primary and above; and advanced courses such as AI and blockchain are recommended from S1 onwards.
We provide fully customised STEAM programme services. First, we consult closely with school lead teachers to understand the school's educational philosophy, student profile and specific needs. Our curriculum design team then develops a personalised programme including learning objectives, content, teaching methods, competition training and assessment criteria. Once confirmed, we supply all necessary materials and equipment and can train school teachers or deploy our professional instructors to deliver lessons.
Our courses accommodate different starting levels; most introductory courses need no specific prior knowledge. For students with no programming experience, we start from basics and progress step by step. Most important is curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to try new things and solve problems.
We have extensive experience helping schools apply for various government grants, including the Quality Education Fund, Fun IT Enrichment Programme, Secondary School IT Innovative Lab and more. Our team provides full support — writing applications, developing project plans, budget planning and follow-up execution and reporting. Schools simply contact us with basic information; we recommend the most suitable funding scheme for your situation and assist throughout the application process.
Our STEAM Day is a highly interactive, experience-rich event, usually featuring multiple themed workshops and activity stations. Content may include VEX robot control challenges, drone flying experiences, WhalesBot unplugged coding and large-block workshops, VR/AR interactive games, 3D printing demonstrations, Python coding mini-games and more. We customise activities to each school's needs and venue, providing all necessary equipment and materials. Formats are flexible — half-day or full-day carnival-style events, or multi-day themed workshops.
