Job Description

We are a leading STEAM education company seeking a skilled, passionate team member for competitive robotics and hands-on engineering. You will mainly train and coach students for robot competitions (focus on VEX), working closely with student teams to design, build and troubleshoot robots — providing hands-on support, design improvements and competition preparation as the technical backbone leading teams to victory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and guide student teams in robot design, building, and programming for VEX competitions.
  • Provide hands-on support to help students debug, repair, and optimise robots.
  • Teach fundamental mechanical engineering principles related to robotics.
  • Develop and prepare engaging course materials related to robotics, VEX, and engineering.
  • Lead and supervise student teams in robotics competitions and events.
  • Ensure safe and correct use of robotics lab tools and equipment.
Job Requirements
  • Practical experience in competitive robotics (VEX preferred).
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering or related technical disciplines.
  • Preference for candidates with teaching, coaching, or tutoring experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot complex robotics systems.

Job Description

We invite part-time robotics competition class instructors. Professional instructors, graduates and tertiary students with relevant teaching/competition experience welcome; experienced candidates preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching robotics courses for primary and secondary students: including chassis assembly and block-based programming.
  • Design and train competition strategies to support students preparing for events and championships.
  • Apply varied teaching methods for different learning styles (hands-on, group work, one-to-one guidance).
  • Assess learning progress and provide specific feedback to students and teachers.
  • Design challenging lesson plans aligned with curriculum frameworks (e.g. VEX IQ or other robotics programmes).
  • Collaborate with school teachers and in-house tutors to maintain an effective learning environment.
Job Requirements
  • Passionate about STEAM education and enjoy working with students;
  • Able to lead and train students in innovative strategies for STEAM competitions (e.g. VEX, RoboMaster, HKUST Underwater Robot, Makeblock, ABU ROBOCON);
  • Preference for candidates able to teach in Cantonese and English;
  • No experience required — enthusiasm and motivation welcome;
  • Preference for candidates with a Bachelor of Education or degrees in engineering, computer science, robotics, arts-related fields, or STEAM;

  • Previously taught robotics courses: VEX 123/GO/IQ/V5, Whalesbot, Robocon, etc.
