Programme Overview
Designed specially for Hong Kong kindergarten students, this course inspires young children's curiosity about the world of technology in a fun and safe way. Using adorable flying robots as teaching tools, children experience simple remote control and commanding drones to fly under teacher guidance, and develop teamwork and social skills through cooperative group tasks. Drones with stable flight and basic sensing features let children learn to give commands and tackle fun mini-challenges in an enjoyable setting. The course focuses on developing fine motor skills, spatial awareness, problem-solving and self-directed learning, aligned with the EDB's problem-based learning approach, helping students build confidence and a positive attitude to learning through solving simple problems.

Future-ready advantages
Drone courses for children are like an exciting sky adventure! They operate drones hands-on, using simple commands to fly high and low, left and right — feeling the joy of being a little pilot. Games and stories guide learning; children drag icons like building blocks to learn simple 'coding magic', training coordination between small hands and minds.
In class, children discover drones have 'little eyes' and 'little ears' that sense colours and patterns nearby, and learn safe flying basics to protect themselves and friends. Through team games, children cooperate, help each other and share success. The whole process keeps learning fun and creative while building focus, patience and confidence for future learning.
